 Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of St John Mission Statement:
We nurture and inspire our community with open minds, as we connect in spirit and celebrate our island home.

The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of St. John is an open-minded spiritual group that follows the Seven Principles of the Unitarian Universalist Association and is committed to creating an emotionally safe community
through honest and caring relationships.

The Seven Principles of the Unitarian Universalist Association

We covenant to affirm and promote:
The inherent worth and dignity of every person;

Justice, equity, and compassion in human relations;
Acceptance of one another and encouragement of spiritual growth in our congregations;
A free and responsible search for truth and meaning;
The right of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our congregations and in society at large;
The goal of world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all;
Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part.

The UU Fellowship’s Tree Appreciation Project, and related book,
reflect the Unitarian Universalist principle of
“Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part”
